Title: Wanted: Front wheel for a 72 Penton 6 Day

I'm in need of a front wheel for my 72 Penton project. The previous owner painted the front rim battleship gray, when I brought a section down to the chrome it looked "bogus". If anybody has an extra wheel (in decent condition)they would like to part with, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Rod,

I have a good one that has a little rust on the spoke nipples.  Other than that it is real decent with brake backing plate.  E-mail me direct if interested and I can give you a price.

Larry, I got the front rim today. Looks great. :)Thank you very much. The Penton is starting to look really good. Now, if I could only find an expansion chamber in pristine condition.

There is an expansion chamber on eBay, # 4532036921, that may be what you are looking for.  Not pristine, but possibly could be.
