Ok stupid question I am sure... I have Bob Brizees MC5 now and have painted the frame, swingarm ,and small parts to freshen it up.
I can not get the airbox back in..it looks like I need to remove the shocks/ and or rear wheel. Is there a trick to installing with the engine in? Maybe holding at just the right angle while contorting yourself backwards? ( that's how the engine went in).
Thank you, James

Did you pull the motor out of the bike and then the airbox? I have done a couple of GS6's and the motor has to be out to get the airbox in, at least I couldn't get it back in with the motor installed.

James, I'm almost positive I recall it will come out, or go in the back end but you have to remove the swingarm. Bob
Actually, I got it in with the engine in, and the rear wheel on. I unbolted the shocks and let the wheel down. It fit in, after much twisting and gnashing if teeth. I am glad I made it-it sounds like I got away with something I shouldn't have. Anyway, staying up tonight to get more together-hopefully test run in am-if not then by end of day. If it comes out looking good, Maybe Bob will take some pics- as I could make Anjelina Jolie look like Rosie O'Donnell with a camera in my hands. Thanks for your responses and help. James
