Hey Auto,  E bay isen't necessarily a bad route to take.  I bought a 1976 250 MC5 for 500 bucks there,  it needed quite a bit of tinkering, but its now a great, fast, fun bike.
I also got a 1970 6 day steel tanker for 400 bucks off the E bay thingy,  Its close to being ready. Not so fast !!
I've also obtained some of the most unobtainable parts needed  for a future Jack Piner project from there.  Bottom line, dont give up

You know your a tinkerer, when you built the airplane,.. from the run way up !!   Pentons forever, forever Pentons PFFP
