Title: Steel tanker front #plate mounting tips:
Post by: clayman on February 14, 2005, 08:13:37 PM
Can someone please guide me in the proper way of mounting the front # plate on a steel tanker? Am I correct thinking that the headlight brackets fold in to line up with the holes in the steel number plate, which doesn't utilize  the headlight, as it's an MX model?
Thanks,
Clay

Clay,
Ron is 100% correct (as always). Additionally, they used an item called a number plate spacer. Part number 2-8.000. Problem is I don't know where you could find them. You could, however find some nylon stock and make your own.
