Title: Soda blasting

Has any one tried soda blasting on any discolored aluminum  parts or rims and what was the out come? Or on any other parts[?]

Gooddirt - For a better response to your query you might want to move this posting to the Penton Talk section.  Also, check out other blasting media at: http://www.kramerindustriesonline.com/blasting-media.htm  I used plastic blasting media on the cases of a 1977 cb750f and had great success.  It does not remove any metal or distort surfaces like conventional bead or sand blasting.

Thanks alot for the info guys , yes I know this topic went under the wrong forum right after I  had posted it , but it was late at night and about to fall asleep .  Also I have to hunt and peck for the keys on the keyboard. ha ha  Anyway thanks again !;)

Do you just put the baking soda in the blaster and use it that way? What was the cost of the sada?
