Title: MC5 fork springs
Post by: chris richardson on February 19, 2005, 03:17:52 PM
Does anyone have the correct measurements for front fork springs in the 77 MC5, 35mm marzooks.

Where do I get a new (stiff) set? Tried Al and Barry.

Thanks,
Chilly Pepper

Chris, if worse comes to worse, a lot of fellas just add a spacer on top of the old spring, roughly 1-1/2" with a hole down through the middle to allow oil/air movement.  Its cheap and it works !!

Chris, I think you will like the spacer-Bob Brizee has it on his MCS and the forks are stiff enough for me-and you remember I am not light. James

7" and 4" travel? Hmm-that makes 11" Hey! I can live with that.
