Title: Pictures of 74' - 75' ISDT Bikes
Post by: Chakka on February 25, 2005, 10:24:22 PM
Anybody have pictures they care to post of the Pentons used in 74', 75' or 76' six days? In particular the small bore bikes 100cc or 125cc SACHS. I want to get some ideas for my next rebuild and notice all the shots from my old Keeping Tracks are of KTM engined bikes 175 and bigger.
Thanks
Chris

Chris,
If you go to the photo gallery section and click on 2003 ISDT reunion ride you will see a section of pictures that focus on  my 1973 ISDT 125 Penton.
Hope this helps.
Paul

Thanks Paul,

I already saved all those pictures to my drive. I have 2 frames to build up. A 1974 and a 1972.
The 74 will be a copy of a US trophy team bike from the Italian ISDT w/a 125cc motor.

The 72 will be just like your bike from the 73' ISDT with the small CEV headlight and because I have the original tank off my first Penton (a Jackpiner) this bike will also have a blue tank. It will be 100cc. Dougs getting my collection of SACHS stuff March 1 for rebuild.

What was the 74' ISDT like to ride? from what I've read it was impossible on a small machine.
