Title: Aluminum tank on e-bay closes in 10 hours!
Post by: bobrammer on March 02, 2005, 09:40:59 AM
I have a very clean aluminum tank for a Penton.  I'm not sure if it's a Hi-Point piece or what.  Absolutely beautiful welds etc.  Very nice condition.  Looks like it was Jackpiner blue once upon a time.  If interested, it's on E-Bay.  Starting bid of $75.00 and NO RESERVE.  Thanks!

This auction ends this afternoon. 03/09/05.  Please take a look.

Hey Guys:

This thing is still at $77.00 with only 2 days left.  I hope you POG guys aren't going to let an outsider make off with this nice piece of Penton history!!!:D

As a Penton rookie, explain how it is Penton history. As I told my brother in Gainesville Sunday...I dont even know what I dont know about Pentons.

This is an item that was sold by Hi-Point.  My understanding is that Hi-Point was formed by the Penton family to produce accessories to complement their bikes.  Like everthing associated with John Penton, they offered very high quality stuff.  Their boots were among the very best on the market.  Okay guys.  If I got it all wrong, please set the record straight!  LOL:D  Lots of very seasoned Penton riders and heroes on this board!  Regards, Bob

P.S.  Larry, I know you are lurking out there.  Did I get it right!?!
