Title: husky motor in jackpiner
Post by: wildman on April 01, 2005, 12:49:51 PM
I wondered if anyone else has tried to put a 360 8speed husqvarna in a 74 Jackpiner frame.I figured the extra gears will make a good dualsport ride and get rid of that dirty, worn out old KTM  motor. It would make a pretty good boat anchor except the water would rot it out. They both use Bing carbs so thats a plus. Thanks for any help, Wildman.

Hey wildman, If you don't want that dirty worn out KTM motor,  I sure could use a boat anchor.  That Husky motor wont fit, its 3" longer than the piner motor

Please excuse me, what was I thinking? It must have been that rabbit that bit me in the back yard, some kind of April disease, I think. I do have a set of partly corroded Jackpiner cases to take to a welder today for some work so no 8speed this year. Hope you're not too dissapointed Rainman, sorry! Thanks everybody, Wildman
