Title: For-sale 1981 repro KTM 495 mx rear fender

I have a new white reprodution rear fender /#plate for a 1981 + 495mx. I thought it would fit my 1980 KTM 420mx,but it's a diffrent style.$55.00 plus shipping ,Thanks jon p.s. can e-mail pics.

Aren't the number plates on the 1980 built into the side panels and not the rear fender?

I know they have different part numbers.

I'm converting it to the 1980 rear fender #plate with small side panels 1980 style. 1981 rear fender # plate was for the single shock bikes won't work.thanks Jon

Jon,

1980 models had side panel number plates, 1981, 82, & 83 models all had rear fender/number plate combos and each year the fenders were different.  1981 model was last year for twin shocks
