Title: Thank You Poggers
Post by: Frosty on December 12, 2005, 11:00:27 PM
From the time that I've been checking out the Penton Owners Group website,I've realized what a dedicated group of enthusiast you are.At first I was scared to get on the message board.Didn't know if I would be ridiculed or not for my stupid questions.I decided I'd give it a try and see what happened. To my suprise not only were my questions answered but I was able to make some great contacts to help me get started on my 74 250 Harescrambler project.I've been able to get the information and some of the parts to make me realize that although I'm a long way from finishing, this forum will make it possible. Now I'm ready to take the next step.I'm sending off my membership application and joining P.O.G..To those who like me wanted to make sure this is something that you would like to be a member of, don't hesitate to ask a question. You will be treated to the best information out there. In closing I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.Thank You Poggers, Dave"Frosty"Frost

Frosty;   Thanks for your message.   This is a Great group and without the foresight and work of Al Buehner, Paul Danik, and a few others, this all would not be here.   Thanks to all Poggers for  your, beliefs, trust and support.   Merry Christmas and a Happy Pogger New Year! :)

What is so awesome is that after not riding, seeing, or reading about dirt bikes for 28 years, I pulled my 1971 Six Day out of the barn in the year 2000 and asked a million dumb questions and the Poggers were so nice to not ridicule me but to help me out. The amount of dirt bike knowledge and history that resides within this group is amazing and yet they are willing to welcome and help out "newbies" like me.

Thank you POGGERS and I pray everyone in POGland has a very Merry Christmas. Please take some time to think about God this Christmas, who came to earth as a baby to suffer humiliation and excruciating pain so that we can be freed from our bondage to sin.

Hello Frosty, You must realize that we are all newbies save for a few visionaries who started this organization. We are a very young club compared to most mc clubs. So never be afraid to ask questions because knowledge is power, to get our Pentons from 'barn fresh ' status to race ready or as a proud show piece. Welcome aboard and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
