Title: 73 250 Hare Scramble
Post by: chuck on January 06, 2006, 03:34:48 PM
Was the '73 250 Hare Scramble (yellow tank) manufactured specifically for cross country racing or was Penton thinking of a dual bike for both cross country and MX.

Thanks,

chuck

All purpose motorcycle!first 250engines brought into united states were black, and the engine should be a 3-54 to be an early one, early ones had small 14mm kicker shafts and the shaft came through the other side so you could shifter on the right side too!like the early 175 jackpiner just 25%stronger through all the gears on power![^];)

Thanks Wolfman,

I'm thinking this bike is a 74/75 frame with a 73 engine.
