Title: Penton GS400
Post by: Andrew Peinke on February 10, 2006, 02:13:04 AM
I am restoring a GS400 and require a kickstarter and shaft.  Can anyone assist?  Naturally I am willing to pay the going rate.

Andrew, I am pretty sure that Al Buehner (216 6516559) has new kickers (repo's) available, he may have the shaft as well. Adios, Tom Brosius

What year is your 400.
I think I have one for a 79.

al's repo kickers are the best. they work better than original and are quite sturdy. they also fold further inward for less interference. i highly recommend them.  see everyone in florida

Thanks for the report on those new kickers Al has chijer.  I was curious how well they work. I've repaired 3 of the middle swivel type and they get the job done but... you know the scenario, when your leg gets wacked into it and it's never in place :(
I guess some parts can only be repaired so many times

Thanks Chuck.  I will first try and see whether Al Beuhner has both the kicker and shaft in stock so that I can buy as a matched unit.  Kind regards.

Well ..... I am decided.  Al Beuhner has to be my first port of call.  Thank you for your comments.

I've replaced all of mine with the ones that Al sells. They are great. He even has rebuilt them for the smaller Piner shafts.
