[:0] Wow! I have been enjoying this site  for a short time,but I jumped out of my chair when I saw the only Penton I ever owned on here. It is the red 250 Hare Scrambler with the center stand. It was a hand-me-down from Rod Bush.I rode three years,then turned street rider.Sadly it was neglected for 21 years before I sold it. I would love to hear how it ended up there.It appears to be exactly as it was when it left my home in 1999.     Jeff Spencer

  Welcome to the POG site. Did you ever buy bikes from "The Bike Shop" in Parkersburg, WV or "Harold's Cycle Shop" in Little Hocking, OH?

Gary,                                                                    I bought that bike from Rod when he was operating The Bike Shop. I purchased parts and supplies from Harold,but no bikes.Harold and I dickered over the Hercules ****el street bike ,but the sale was never made.If memory serves me correctly, James told me he still has that Hercules,and the KTM bicycle also.I had a lot of fun with Harold and Rod,both are greatly missed.
