Title: What does a Penton-SACHS Road Racer look like?
Post by: Dave H. on August 15, 2001, 02:44:38 PM
This is my in-progress web page, courtesy of my son Michael.
http://www.mindspring.com/~batduck/racing.htm

My bike (#49) is a '72 PENTON Six Day 125 with Ceriani RR forks, Bridgestone Hurricane hub brake, and 18 inch AVON racing tyres front and rear. Stock engine.

The other bike (#88) is a MotoGori-SACHS racer owned by Martijn Stehouwer of Holland, His engine is totally trick, with straight cut gears, extra transfer ports, recontoured squish band, PVL internal rotor ignition...very nice.

The other pics show a Dave Roper Racers clinic, Seattle-International-Raceway, and Spokane Raceway Park.

"if you aren't racing on the edge, you're taking up too much space" ljh
