The first batch of DVD orders has been filled. We will have a supply of the DVDs at the POG meeting tomorrow night for those who have inquired about buying one at the meeting. We will also have them for sale at the POG tent at Vintage Days.

If you haven't gotten one of these yet, you are robbing yourself of some great history! Thanks for making these available, Paul. The only shortcoming is that it is about 10 hours too short! I know Mr P could easily fill up 9+1/2 of those hours with stories of his own!

I've watched mine twice, very nice. Gives the Penton project in my garage a boost, A couple of nice 6 days on the video, something of a level to shoot for. Also nice to see faces of people I've met online, now can put a face with a name. Look forward to meeting them in person.

Tremendous achievement to get that many Pentons in one place at one time and to have the interviews of Mr Penton and others on the same DVD is Great. I will be ordering several copies to give to our museums in Texas and hopefully to show at the Antiques Bike Shows that are happening this summer. Thanks to Ted & Reb Guthrie for their tireless effort in the filming and the music coordination of the production. I especially enjoyed you and Dane's interview.

We would not have had a display to film without the tremendous show of support from the members who brought machines and memorabilia from near and quite far. It was a sight to see as the constant line of trucks and trailers made their way into the museum parking area and more and more Pentons were brought into the display area.
As far as the DVD goes I am just playing mailman, Reb and Ted did the majority of the work with John Borer getting the copies made. We are all just pleased as punch to see that you guys are enjoying the DVD. I have another batch to get into the mail tomorrow, we will also have them at VMD along with the new POG MC-5 shirts that Scott Brogan is handling.
Lets see, JP will be 81 on August 19th, I wonder.........
Thank you all for your generous comments and continued support and encouragement. Please keep in mind that Reb and I total amateurs and can only offer our enthusiasm and our love for Penton motorcycles, the Penton family, and all Penton owners, in our efforts to film and produce these videos. Also, we're just a couple of poor, working slobs, and as a result the time available for us to contribute to this effort is extremely limited. However, we are even now working on additional projects. In the (hopefully) near future, look for coverage of Vintage Days 2005, plus another video, which will feature a wonderful, up close and personal visit with Mr. John Penton and his family, along with a tour of the Penton family farm and businesses. Lots of great stories and inside information from the man himself. The day we spent in John Penton's company, while filming for this upcoming dvd, was one I'll always treasure, and we will make every effort to share that special experience through the video. Stay tuned!
