Title: front fork cornfusion
Post by: BobJones on June 15, 2006, 07:11:44 PM
I bought some front forks on e-bay that were described as being from a 72 Berkshire.I am restoring a 69 6-day & thought they could be used for parts much to my surprise the 72's are 32mm & the ones off the 6-day are 35mm. Is this right? Anyone need 32mm forks?Thanks

67-71 35mm old style
72-73 Lame flexy 32mm
74-76 Later model 35mm{there were two different lengths}

Very few parts interchange between any of these.

Bob,
  Thanks for the pictures.  I had a email waiting for me for a set that I wanted.  If anyone else wants the ones Bob has I will forward the pictures.
