Hi Guys, I'm new to owning a Sachs so please be gental with me. I bought a 79 Sachs 250 MX but it needs an Engine can anyone help me find a contact for parts or bikes? I have the cases, head and cylinder but the whole rest of the engine is missing. Sounds nutty but true. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Mark [email protected]

Mark, Speedy is the Hercules guy.if he doesn't have it he can point you where to get it.Look for his info in the wanted/for sale section under the steeltanker post,or if you have trouble finding it let me know and i'll send you his info.If you end up with a spare sachs hydrocross shock from your herc for some nutty reason PLEASE let me know as i need one.Good luck............Ric

Can you post a picture of what a 1979 MX Sachs looks like. I remember they where going to make a push in the USA in motocross in 77-78,but pulled the plug.Thanks Frog

I should remember this but I think someone in the Team Knudson clan has a BEAUTIFUL example of one. Gary Roach is it yours? Whomever, that one is worth seeing a pic of. It would make for a great guide in Mark's restore.
