Title: Jim Pomeroy Funeral
Post by: classof74 on August 12, 2006, 01:52:19 AM
My friend Ray Ochs, the News Director at KNDO in Yakima did a news
story for us on Jim`s Funeral. To get to the page, point your browsers
to...

http://www.kndo.com/Global/story.asp?S=5272038

To get to the video, click on "Hundres Mourn Loss Of Jim Pomeroy At
Funeral" under "Video Now".

It`s a short piece but very nice. I`ve put in a request to Ray to send
me down a copy and any additional video they shot.

Thanks Mark, I did not make it to the funeral, but wished I could have attended. The race on Sunday started off on a somber note. it seemed that everyone just seemed to be a little more introspective all day long but that did not stop the racing, in fact I think Jim would have wanted it that way. All in all it was a great day of racing but it would have been better if Jimmy was there...
