Does anyone know who sells the Lectron carb/ parts?  I just picked up a '76 MC5 250 and was thinking about running a 36 or 38mm Lectron on the bike.  Thanks for any info.

Dave,
Not only can he sell you the parts he is a racer and wealth of information on set up for the big Penton KTM powered bikes.  And it doesn't hurt that he is a Good Guy.

The MC5 was a piston port engine so stay small on the carb.  It came with a 36mm Bing and was pretty radical .  We put a 34mm Lectron on one and man what a different machine.  Much smoother and much more fun to ride.  In a drag race it was just as fast as the stock bike. We thought it felt slower but it wasn't just smoother.
