I think "48th AMA" may be the ISDTRR in Dalton in '03.

Ron, I am in Minot Maine, near Lewiston. Can you send me some pictures? I have too many Pentons now, but since you are close, I may take a look.
[email protected]If anyone here is looking, interested, or buys this, I probably can help with picking it up or arranging for delivery. I travel a lot in New England, and as far west as Albany, NY.

I'd be interested, but would also like to see some pictures. Either digital or good old paper, I'll mail them back ASAP. Or if someone up in that area could eyeball it and give a reasonable discription of it I'd appreciate it. Albany would not be a problem for me. Sight unseen I'll offer $700. Let me know. thx Dan
Ron, I tried to send an E mail, but AOL says your address is non viable. Some other way to contact you?????
Guys,
This is a 1973 JP. frame number starts with 7 - 305xxxxx.

There was information given about this machine in an earlier post, that indicated that this Penton may have been used in the 48th ISDT, which was held in the Pittsfield, Mass area in 1973. If the new owner is curious to find out if that information is correct, he could look to see if the cylinder and cylinder head have small matching holes drilled in them for sealing the top end together. Also, you can look to see if there are any unusual paint marks on the machine or tiny stickers on the brake backing plate or other items that say 48 ISDT.
Another good place to look for a paint mark or sticker is on the ignition flywheel. If you need any other info I will be glad to help. It would really be neat to find out that this machine was used in that event.
