Title: Getting a Grip on it
Post by: CharlieT on September 27, 2006, 10:02:59 AM
...the throttle, that is! My '71 steel tanker is in need of a new set of grips. CLutch side is ok, but the throttle grip has split...probably from age. FOund some online that look to be identical to the stock ones, but it asks to specify plastic or steel throttle tube. Don't have the bike here to check, so I'm not 100% certain, but i want to say it is a steel tube. Sure someon out there can confirm which it is. Thanks!!

If it is a stock throtle, it should be metal, not plastic.
