Paul,
Do you have the timing specs handy for a PVL ignition when used on 1976-77 125, 175, 250, and 400 engines. I have installed a 175 in my 76 125 MC5 chassis for a backup bike at the Reunion Ride, but I don't have an instruction sheet for the PVL ignition that was on the 125, and need to know if the timing specs are the same as for Motoplats. Thanks, Mike

Mike email Penton Racing Products, Dane will let you know the spec's. Later Gary
Gary,
I couldn't find any contact or email info on the site, but there was a listing for timing specs on various engine sizes. One thing was very important was not to use a G, GV, or S series (standard) NGK plug with the PVL due to the higher required spark these plugs require, and may cause very hard starting. A NGK V or VX series fine wire plug was recommended, FYI. Thanks, Mike

Dane,
Thanks for emailing me the specs for the 175 engine timing with the PVL.
Ron, I had already found the Penton Racing Products website, but no email info on the site, only phone and fax #'s, but thanks for the heads up. Mike
