Title: MC5 Seat cover
Post by: Lloyd Boland on November 03, 2006, 08:00:51 PM
I have a 1976/7 KTM MC5 250.  Last week the seams on the seat cover finally gave out and it developed a large rip across the back of the seat. The material is probably too old to try to repair.  I looked on Al's site and the H&H site but no listing for an MC5 seat cover that I could see.  Anyone have a source for original looking seat covers for the MC5?
Thanks.

Bye-the-way, Vince Monk tried to sneek his 125 vintage Penton into the Post vintage class to race against my MC5, a 490 Maico and others.  Nice try Vince.  Then realized he was in the wrong race after it was over and had to run back-to-back motos.

Lloyd, I use this fella outta the Dalles Oregon. He does great work and the seat on my 400 has at least 700 miles on it.

I'm pretty sure DC plastics has them on their Flea Bay store as well.

Victor, sorry about the typo.

It was Victor Monz that wanted to race in the post-vintage age group with his 125 against the newest and biggest of the post-vintage bikes.
