I have came across a penton for sale that I am told is a 400. Frame # 54 405 74162 Engine # 4-5403684 . I know from the frame # it was madein May of 74. The tank & air box are red. What is it? Thanks in advance for any help.

All indications lead towards it being a 250, red tank and the 54 start of the serial numbers. The serial number should start with 55 for the 400's.
