Is the Penton Six Day Sachs kickstarter different from the standard DKW/Sachs kick start? I am finishing a Penton 6 Day restoration and the kicker hits the frame.

Yes, the one you have doesn't have the bend in it to clear the frame.

Do you have the straight or bent kicker?

I have seen 3 different ones. Straight , offset about 3/8" to 1/2" and offset about 3/4". Steel tankers used the middle offset.

Thanks I will have to go through my box of parts. All the nice new looking ones I guess to to my DKW and Tyran projects
