Title: Late Penton-Early KTM motor I. D.
Post by: sumosam on October 04, 2001, 07:45:06 PM
I'm trying to figure out what all of the numbers represent on the motors. Examples, what does 8-5418257 mean and then a different one says 2-5418375. I'm certain the 54 represents 250, but I don't know what the rest of the #'s mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
sumosam

I believe the 8-##### means it's a '78, the 2-###### means it's a '72.
