Just curious, were his cylinders ever s/n'rd, local fast boy, Dave Lindeman, has a 250 with a number stamped on it..

Charlie Brown of Superior Sleeve here in Portland said he used to port and massage cylinders for Carl Cranke after he moved up this way. Maybe late 70s? Charlie's business evolved from Portland Small Engine Works, and I've found at least one cylinder (Husky) with a serial number and that company name stamped in a tag which was riveted to bottom of lowest fin.
Just serial number, or co. name too?
