Hi Randy,
I have an '83 504 an it is a great bike.  It is a bit heavy but the power is always available.  I replaced the disc front end with a 38mm traditional and it handles well on the track.  As with most 4-strokes it has a certain system to starting, but once you get it down it's not a problem at all.  It's a fun bike.

Thank You Dave for the reply.I have two,Have not done much with either.Thinking of vintage flat track with one-post vintage with the other. Both are in great shape, although one has a small leak around the cases. Any tips? Thank you Randy

Randy,
I contacted Wood Racing (949)645-0393.  They can answer ALL your questions about the ROTAX.  They have parts in stock and can do anything from freshen your motor to build a full blown 600+cc rocket engine.  Give 'em a call.
