Title: rear shocks
Post by: typecoraro on February 08, 2007, 11:41:24 PM
I reasently (loosley termed) rust-ored a 1970 125 steel tank project, the bike runs great, however after buying a set of 20 dollar pogo sticks off of ebay. the handleing of the bike leeves much to be desired. i fit 14.5 inch shocks that have absalutly no dampening what so ever. the handling is way off. The lack of dampening is mostly the contributing factor however the handling just seems all wrong for a light bike like that. this is my first PENTON. before i make the call to WORKS .can any body tell me the proper length or any recomendations? ive come to terms that finding stock, OEM ,nos or a decent pair of original 30 year old shocks that can actualy be ridden is dreaming ..

I made the same mistake with my 74 125 and my Jackpiner.  New rear shocks are a good difference-making investment.
