Title: Penton 175 Berkshire
Post by: Frank Murrell on October 22, 2001, 02:14:54 PM
What is the rough value of this complete bike in very rough condition? About a 2 on the 1 to 10 scale. Any and all replies appreciated.

I'm in at $64 even.

Seriously a really rough Penton is worth like everything else, what someone is willing to give for it.  It is unfortunately probably worth more parted out than as a whole.  That is a lot more work though.  Parted out you will probably get $400 to $800 for it.  As a unit $100 to $700.  The variance is dependant on how rough is rough and what model Penton.  By the way the 175 is the Jackpiner and the Berkshire is a 100.  Can't be a 175 Berkshire.  Originally the Piner was blue with a KTM motor and the Berkshire red with a Sachs motor.

I loved the Berkshire.  I wish AHRMA had a 100 class.
