Hi All,
I'm in need of a carb trade. Ambr's Mid-Ohio bike has a 250 carb, and I need a 175 size. Mine is in excellent condition, #54 with 54/36/123 stamped on the side. Jet size really doesn't matter, but I'll take any suggestions you might have for pre-run sizes. You can reply here, or call my cell phone at 765-891-1185. Ambr and I thank you, in advance!

Put a VM 32mm Mikuni on the bike. You will never regret it.

Thanks Dwight, is that a direct bolt-on, or will some mods be necessary? Also, does anyone have one to trade?

Exactly what are you putting it on. Should not be a problem to adapt to most Pentons.

It's a Jackpiner motor, build date of 11/72 and motor number 3-5204073. The manifold has an OD of 1-9/16".

Teddy Landers can tell you exactly what is involved. He likes even larger carbs. I think the 32mm will be plenty considering that the stock carb is a 30mm Bing. Eventually I will be putting a 32mm Mikuni VM on my Jackpiner.
