Title: 125 Six Day for Sale 1972
Post by: deek on July 16, 2007, 03:48:16 PM
Due to my injury and promise(no more riding)to the wife and getting up there in age. Therefore,I'm looking for a kind and gentle person to buy my 100/125 Six Day. Yes, a 100cc (45.5 mm)and 125 (54 mm) setup. Two extra sets of forks. Mikuni 28mm mounted on the 100cc at this time but needs tuned. Doug Wilford went through the bottom end in 2005 (if memory serves me correcty), replaced bearings, seals and what ever else it needed, because it was sittihg for years and had gotten some moisture inside. We both agreed, that it had never been mounted in a chassis. Diseassembled in 2005, powder coated, new chassis bearing and seals, ect. Wanting $2000.00, pictures avaiable on requesst too any interested party.

There is no way I can crate, if any one buys, they must arragne shipping. Unless someone from Portland Oregon/Seattle Washington area, can take to Mid Ohio, I'm in North Idaho, just east of Spokane Washington, in Hayden. There may be someone in Spokane that is heading to Mid Ohio, I'll know in the next couple of days.

Oh yes, I have a Monark and Rupp Pipe also.

Should have stated 6B bottom end. Has 100cc 5A mag side case and 125cc 6B, Still available!!!

Sorry to hear about you giving up bikes, be careful making promises that will be hard to keep.
I may be interested in the Monark pipe, is it an "up" pipe or a "down" pipe?
thanks
Rocket

Deek,

Not sure I understand your last sentence about the 6B bottom end completely.  Are you selling the two engines with the bike described, or are you separating the engines? If separting, I might be interested in the 6B bottom end.

Also, if Rocket does not take the Monark pipe, I need an up-pipe for a 74.  Please let me know.  You can contact me directly at [email protected].

Thanks,  Scott

Sorry to be confusing Scott. I have a 100cc and 125cc mag side case, that would be used with the approiate cylinder, just the one bottom end.
