Title: Penton Suspension Dynamics?
Post by: DKWRACER on July 23, 2007, 09:24:18 PM
Hi Poggers!.....In Works Performance order sheet is a specification called balance. ie: weight ratio between the front and rear....jeeze does this really matter.
Their chart, to be filled-out, is usually right on the mark...
I only ask this ? , as I can find no information about the balance bias from the manuals that I have.....

Go Faster? Nope, but still interested :D

Use a scale. First weigh the front wheel and note the weight.  Then the rear Wheel, note the weight.  The difference is the bias.

Dwight:  I thought weight bias meant the ratio.  Weigh both ends as you say then you add them together.  Then divide the front weight by the total.  Do the same on the rear weight.  EX:  100 lb front 125 rear.  Total is 225. Divide the 100 by 225 = 44.  Divide the 125 by 225 = 55.  Your front to rear bias is 44 / 55.  Ted
