Hello Poggers.........
A very brief story from this past w/e in Colorado.....
Two Pentons wound up 1 and 1 in both motos....
First off, the track came to us from a volunteer landowner near Jefferson Colorado (South Park). Spearheading the efforts to promote a totally "grass-roots" racing effort, devoid of all the controversy between AHRMA and regions, we had a chance to go racing.
Two Pentons where on Podium, mine and Hubert Benzten's......
Hubert won + 60 expert on a 75/250
I took my 75/250 to compete in +50V and PV Historic 500.
Not only did he win, but his victory inspired me to write about a couple of key points:
The will to win, on a Penton, cannot be replaced!
The desire? Comes from within...........
and cannot be replaced.....
This, of course, would never have happened without a gift from John Penton......
Thanks for your time [:p]

Congratulations, Tom

Three Pentons on Podium today, Rifle Colorado, our season ender!
1st = "Doc" Stuart +70 (vintage novice)!
2nd = Hubert Benztzen +60 (vintage expert) season ender winner
1st = Tom Brosius +50 (vintage novice) season ender winner
1st = Tom Brosius PV Historic (novice) season ender winner, down to my nearest rival by one point
Life is good, on a "Penton"
Now if the Rockies, can pull one off too????
Adios, Tom Brosius
Tom, Congratulations on a great racing weekend! And, yes we have been given a wonderful gift by the Penton family -- those of the blood line and those by way of participation in the POG.
