Title: 400 with a Lectron
Post by: rich allison on September 15, 2007, 07:48:45 AM
Just rebuilt a 77 400 and it has a lectron carb on it. It has a 4-1 needle in it, according to the Penton manual from Al B. it should have a 6-2 needle. I have never had any experiences with this type of carb before. Hopefully somebody has ran these carbs and can get me close because I sure don't want to have to kick this beast over to many times to start it. Thanks Rich

Rich the 4-1 metering rod is for a 175cc. What size is your lectron? If you want to, give me a call and I will help you. Later Gary

For a couple of leads on further Lectron knowledge and parts sources, do a search of the message board. In particular, Helmut "Speedy" Clasen could be of assistance.
