Joe,
Is it the one from TN that is listed as a 1975 model?  If so, take a close look at the frame, swingarm, engine and rear hub.  They don't appear to be 1975 items.  I emailed for serial numbers with no response.  Good luck.

Take a good look at the frame and rear brake lever. Isn't that an early Sachs engine frame and rear wheel? Looks like mis- matched rims also, no pipe, Etc. My guess is a pile of parts from 2 bikes thrown together in a hodge podge. Mike

I live about 15 miles from where the bike is. If anyone here purchased the bike I may be able to help out.

Interesting topic "bikes for sale"
Went to look @ a 2000 748 Ducati today, as advertised on Craigslist, 98 HP.....

It was a beautifull unit, all of 2800 miles, naked and yellow..
Does this mean I wish to ride a Ducati? Maybe yes, but only if the owner had told the truth.

An internet search discovered 65 HP, a subsequent call was made to question the validity of the add.....That one could have been mine today.

The internet is a wonderfull thing, it connects wants and desires.

Thanks for sharing a story.
