Title: Original Bing on six days 125 1970
Post by: mau10 on October 12, 2007, 06:21:40 AM
What's the original bing type on the Penton 125 six days 1970 (sachs 1251/5A aluminium head) ? My Penton has the bing 1/27/17 on, but the bing on sachs 1251/5A with aluminium head is usually the type
1/26.
Thanks
Greetings from Rome
Maurizio

Mau;
It is very possible to have a 27 or a 26 on a 1970.
In the beginning (1968) was a 24 on all models.   We,
( I worked for Penton )found that to small and bored
most of the 24mm to 26mm
Have Fun!

My 1251/5A with aluminum head has the 1/27/17 as well.

Hi Doug: :)

What do you think of a 30 mm Bing on my 125 Six Day NOS 54 mm "D" cylinder, placed on one of your first class 6 speed bottom ends...too much fuel, jet it down.  I do have a 28 mm, what jets on the 28 mm.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
