Title: Penton Trials Bike
Post by: flattracker23 on October 25, 2007, 01:02:08 PM
I bought a Wassell trials bike today at an estate sale. It does not have any of the body work on it. I want to know if you can tell if it was a penton from the frame number. The frame number is W 284 S1.

Congratulations on a new Penton :D The last number is probably a T instead of a 1.

Now looking at this bike from here, it appears the steering rakes different than the regular six days??
Im not familiar with anything but CMF frames though...

Trials bikes do have much steeper steering angles. You can ride a Penton Trials bike inside an 8' circle.
