The bike is for sale in Italy (Turin).
I don't know the price.
A friend of mine takes interest in it but he's afraid of a fake.

I don't have a pic of the left side  but I know the muffler is husqvarna.
All the parts are like a Penton, only the motor and the exhaust-pipe/muffler are husqvarna.

I don't remember anything like that built in Amherst, Ohio, but I'll bet JP would love it.

Hey, Very cool bike. Maybe its a proto type or factory one off for racing. Regardless, I would not waste time and get over there before someone else did. Fake? what would be fake about it? I just wonder why it says Penton instead of KTM being in Europe. How many Euros are they asking? Someone may have assembled it but it appears to be a period oval case 250 Husky. Really neat and JP sure could shed some light on this as I doubt its an only child. Thanks for the pic, TTPaul

I have seen steel tank frames with a Triumph cub engine in it, and also with a Honda SL100 engine it it.  Both homemade here in the USA.  I would guess the Husky engine is same thing possibly.  Personally I would say you could always put the Sachs back in it, but looking carefully at the frame the tubing where it welds to sterring head it has been changed extensively.  There is a closer photo in Speedy's post about the Italy show.  In my opinion, as much as Husky's vibrated, I would say stress cracking would be a concern.  Ted

Very interesting.  In close review the head is consistant with a 360 "sloped fin head", like on my 1967 360 Bolt-Together Husky.

It's possible it could be a very very early 250 with the Magnesium cases.  I have one on the shelf, with a sloped back fin style head aswell.  But that motor is out of a 1965 or a 1966 250 Husqvarna.

Never the less very cool bike.  If I had a frame I'd build one to race in the Classic class.
