Title: Swing arm parts/250
Post by: tmc3c on November 19, 2007, 06:59:22 PM
Does anybody have or know if Al sells part # 54.03.034.000 adjustment nut & 54.03.032.000 bearing sleeve? I don't belive these bearings have been changed since the factory did.

GREAT call on not trying this fix before New Blaine Ron!!!!

Thomas,

Do you need the bearing sleeve or the bearings?  If you need the bearings, you can get them from your local bearing house and are identified as an HK2030 needle bearing.

Give Al a call, he may have the parts you need, but they do not show up on his web site.

Good Luck,

Tony

Hi Tony!  I have the bearings, I need the bearing tube and caps on end.  I'll get in touch with Al after Thanksgiving.  Thanks for the info and I hope you and your family have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I fear that you may have to look for a donor swingarm for the bearing tube and nuts, if yours is not salvageable. To my knowledge no one has any new ones, although Gary Ellis was attempting to make some, but ran into a problem with finding a drill bit long enough and still substantial enough to drill through the tube.
