Hi all,
Just got my latest issue of Motorcyclist magazine (Feb 08 issue) (unfortunately I am addicted to all motorcycles, not just Pentons...) and they have announced a new magazine that will be coming out in April called Motorcyclist Classic. The magazine will feature bikes, racers, collectors, restorers, events, tech, restoration information, etc from the mid 60's thru the mid 80's and will include vintage dirt and street coverage.
They are calling for suggestions, bikes, feedback, stories, collections, tips and any other information that would make for interesting reading.
With the historical significance of the Penton brand / family and the fact that many of the people on this website were so heavily involved in the motorcycling industry (production, racers, dealers, etc) during this time period, I think that there is a huge opportunity to shine the spotlight on John Penton and his legacy in this new magazine.

In closing I would just like to say that the Penton Owners Group is a great bunch of people and having this website to stay connected is a great bonus. I have been helped by numerous individuals and appreciate the family like atmosphere.
