Title: Wanted: Jackpiner engine parts and clutch info

Wishing to purchase crankshaft for 78 to 72  Jackpiner engine, 25mm shaft preferred.  Would also consider a bottom end for same.

Also needing to know (wish to purchase),  what size or number or teeth Pinion Gear required as mate for 73 tooth clutch gear for 78 piner engine ?

I would not match a 72 clutch basket to a 78 motor. You can use a 74 to 78 crankshaft for a 78 motor. If you have a 72 basket and crank I would not use them in a 78 motor. You can use a 74 to 78 basket and gear,it will work fine. Give me a call 217 260 0237   Later Gary

Thanks for the reply.  I'm hoping to use a good set of 72 cases, but 78 175cc tranny internals and clutch that I have, if I can find a pinion gear to fit the 73 tooth clutch, and a crank.  The 78 crank was broken, and pinion gear lost. I'll plan to give you a call Monday evening.    Regards,  Nelson
