I just posted my original early 1974 250 HS MX tank on eBay with a "Buy It Now" of $ 125.00 plus shipping. Needs a small repair in the left front corner where worn fork stops allowed the LH fork tube to come in slight contact with the tank causing the tank to seep. A very nice tank if someone is looking for one to use on a Berkshire or HareScrambler. I bought an almost perfect one to replace it at Mid-Ohio in 2006, so it is extra and looking for a good home. Mike, damn sure did miss that one. It would look great on my HS. Hollar ifn you find something besides the watermelon style tank. Even if it needs work I can take care of that. I am going to send you a photo of how I am building the 250 I got from you. Hopefully you can post it so we all can talk about it because the bike in the photo is a rare bird. Another POGer thought it was a prototype which it may be. Its on the vintageKTM.com site as its actually a KTM but pre 74 and I'd even say its pre 1973. Anybody else computor savy let me know and I will forward the pic to post it. TTPaul
