I was wondering if I put a 'b' motor in my 1970 berkshire instead of the 'a' will it change what class I have to run or should I just leave it alone. With everyone trying to get as many pentons as possible at the races I thought it would be neat to see a steeltanker out there. If anyone has a 100 sleeve for sale or know how I can get one please let me know.I also was wondering on the 1973 100 that I'm building can I run a reed cage set up?thanks for any info.I'm sending kevin at circle f all theinfo from Mettco on the specs for the 100 pipe. I also have all the specs on the 125 low pipe for the 125 if anyone is interested.
The way I read the 100cc class rules, any 100cc Sachs motor combo thru 1974 should be ok. 5 or 6 speed. Reeds allowed. No flat slide carbs. Electronic ignitions acceptable. Good to hear you are building a 100! Check ebay for 100 sleeve - saw one a few weeks ago.
If you are racing a 125 in Classic - no reed valves.
I would like the downpipe specs:
