40 years after the first Team Penton entered the Alligator enduro, one lone Penton ridden by POG member Conrad Pfeiffer held up the honor of the Penton name amongst the over 500 entries in this years event. From the look of Conrad at the end of the event it looked as though Conrad and the Alligator had quite a fight out in the swamps, but rest assured Conrad tamed this Alligator. Conrad's goal was to finish the event on his Penton, and that he did.
From what I saw I think Conrad and his Penton just might have been the most photographed rider/bike at the event. One gentleman who was taking a number of pictures stated that he was with a magazine out of Japan.
Congratulations Conrad on a job well done.
A big thanks also to Conrad's cousin POG member Dave Stype, Dave rode Pentons back in the day and instilled in Conrad his love of the machines.
