Title: '74 KTM 250

Can anyone tell me if KTM made a white tank, white fendered, and white side panels 250 MX in 1974. I have found a bike and can buy it real cheap but want to make sure it is "correct". Anyone have knowledge of frame and engine numbers to look for? Thanks.

If you can buy it cheap, why worry about whether it's "correct"? Buy it and have fun! If it IS correct, it's just a plus!

I'll have to agree with Grandpaul....buy it cheap and "get it dirty"....!

Thanks for the feedback...I bought the '74 KTM 250. Now, does anyone have a source for acquiring front and rear lighting, part sources and a sales brochure? See ya at the races!

As far as parts go, the first place I'd look is "penton parts" on this home page. You can also rely on fellow POG members to help out.

Good luck........
