Title: Rider down
Post by: Dave Withrow on May 28, 2008, 08:50:53 AM
This past Monday Gary Ellis had a nasty spill while at a Hare Scramble at Casey, IL.  The result was a dislocated knee and a night in the hospital.  He's home now but may need further work on his MCL.  Please join me in praying for a speedy recovery.  Thanks.

Gary is one of the nicest and knowledgeable Penton/KTM enthusiasts that I know, and will be in my prayers for a speedy recovery. I know that he pops in on the message board frequently and I am sure that he appreciates everyones support and prayers. Mike

Gary,

Darn the bad luck.  So sorry to hear about your predicament Gary.  I haven't had time to box my engine up and get it out to you yet but still planning on doing so.  Get well first though; that's what's important!

Gary,

Sorry to hear about your mishap. Enjoyed catching up with you at Marion. I guess this means you won't be at the Casey CC on your new KTM 125 in a few weeks? Anyways, heal up fast and I'll see you on the trail.

I went to see the Doctor today. I am having MCL surgery on Wednesday of next week. Not going to do anything on my ACL or PCL for now. The Doc told me, it is going to be a hard and long recovery. Might be able to go to MId-Ohio but will need a golf cart. Thanks Gary

Ron, It would look cool with your # on it and all of the lettering and you could get one of those trailer hitches that has a boat prop on it.[:p]

Lew,I can see Ron now with his straw hat and shades on hanging it out!! You know he would be styling!! You know this could be a new type of racing! Put one of Ron's go cart racing motors in and who knows....With all of the people brother Ron knows maybe he and Gary could run a few hot laps around the Mid-Ohio course.:D
