Title: 68 Ceriani rear shocks
Post by: rick deford on June 17, 2008, 01:04:46 PM
I have a couple of questions on rebuilding the Ceriani rear shocks on my 68 six-day.
1. Does anybody know if there is a resource to replace the internal
rubber/neoprene parts[?] and the rubber mounting grommets and
   bushings[?]
2. How much oil needed[?] and the weight[?]

Thanks,

Rick

Rick  No replacement rubber parts available, I replace the "O" rings though with modern (bearings jobber) and put 80-90cc of 10 wt Bel Ray fork oil in mine.  Work them back and forth a few times to see if you have enough oil in them, you will know by the sound. CIAO
