Title: Bike Shipping
Post by: PJM on June 21, 2008, 11:48:14 AM
Has anyone utilized uShip to ship their bikes? I just found them on the web and the rates are really cheap. Basically you post your need to ship and the shipping service providers bid to pick up and deliver your bike. Check it out at:

I've used them about 5/6 times with great luck. make sure you check the shipper's feeback. the cheapest and easy way to ship a bike I've found. I have friend's who have used uship,  all with postive things to say. Thru uship I found a local shipper that travels all across the country for very fair price, he has brand new equipment which also nice. I can give you his name and number If you'd like.

+1 had 2 good experiences. Like a reverse-auction ebay. Feedback is key. Good luck.

Used twice, the only way to ship a bike in this day and age.

i have used them with great results. several bikes have been brought out in the back of someones pickup who was coming this way and just wanted some help with gas. $550 from the east coast to the west coast door to door in this day and age is a good deal i think. I have even done some myself to help out with gas. If you have space and are headed there anyway why not make a stop along the way and getsome $.
